Modern farmhouse
White siding, black windows and simple shapes. Go for a black or white door with one big lite or flat Shaker panels.

Fiberglass front doors
Wood-grain, smooth and factory-black fiberglass front doors in modern, Craftsman, Shaker, rustic and classic styles, with sidelites and decorative glass. Supplied and installed across Toronto and the GTA.
A better starting point
Fiberglass is the most popular front door for a reason. It has a deep, realistic wood grain, it can be stained or painted any colour, and it will not rot, warp or dent the way wood and steel can. An insulated foam core keeps the hallway comfortable, and the range runs from modern grooved and black brushed doors to classic Craftsman and rustic plank styles.
Oak, fir, mahogany and teak grains that take a stain, or a smooth face to paint.
No rot, warping or rust, and no sanding and refinishing every few years.
A foam core and insulated Low-E glass, for a warmer, quieter entrance.
Modern, Craftsman, Shaker, rustic and classic, up to 8 ft tall, with sidelites and transoms.

Match it to your home
The right front door looks like it was always part of the house. These are the doors we would start with for four common Toronto-area home styles.

White siding, black windows and simple shapes. Go for a black or white door with one big lite or flat Shaker panels.

Flat roofs, mixed cladding and big windows. Pick a grooved or flush wood grain, or a narrow strip of frosted glass.

Stone, tapered columns and hand-built detail. Square glass over flat panels, with an optional dentil shelf.

Brick or siding with classic trim. Raised panels, arched tops and decorative or grilled glass suit it best.

Door styles
A selection of 39 styles across the collections we supply. Most come in standard and 8 ft heights and several widths, with matching sidelites.
A brushed texture with the colour built in at the factory, in black or white, or a brush-stroke grain to stain. Insulated glass is built into the door.

Flat teak and grooved oak-grain doors for modern homes. Grooves can run across, down, or as a curve.

Flat recessed panels with clean edges. Smooth to paint, or a fir grain to stain.

A row of glass over tall flat panels. Add grilles or a dentil shelf under the glass for more detail.

Glass set directly into the door for slim, clean lines. Clear, frosted or textured, with or without grilles.

Planks, arched tops and a deep, hand-hewn grain. Finish with clavos, strap hinges or a speakeasy grille.

Raised panels and arched tops for traditional homes, in oak grain or smooth to paint.

Grain & colour
Wood-grain doors take a stain or paint, smooth doors are made to paint, and the brushed doors come black or white from the factory. Colours on screen are indicative; we bring real samples.
A deep, realistic grain you can see and feel.

Layouts & glass
Sidelites and a transom bring light into the hall, and decorative glass adds privacy and character.
Single or double, with sidelites and a transom where the opening allows.

For the door, sidelites and transom. All insulated, with privacy built in.

Add-ons
Shelves, grilles, art glass, iron accents and matching frames, added at the factory or by our crew on site. Mix them to get the exact entrance you have in mind.
A four-block shelf under the glass of a Craftsman or Shaker door. Weatherproof polyurethane that will not warp, rot or crack.

Grille kits for Craftsman glass and sidelites, or narrow or wide bars fixed to full-glass doors. Grilles between the panes are available too.

Leaded art glass for Craftsman doors, and textured glass that lets the light in and blurs the view.

Hand-finished iron-look accents for plank and arched doors.

A composite frame and brickmould that will not rot, splinter or soak up water, in smooth white or a wood grain to paint or stain. Extensions are available for thick walls.

Black or nickel.

Ask about these when you choose the glass.
Blinds sealed inside the glass on many glazed doors and sidelites, so they never need dusting.
A third pane for more warmth and less street noise.
A slimmer frame around the glass on full-glass doors, for about 20% more glass.
Standard on insulated glass, to keep heat in during winter and out in summer.
Inside the door
Moulded fiberglass skins will not dent or rust like steel, or rot, split and warp like wood, and they will not peel apart over time.
The edges and top and bottom rails are composite, not wood, so water cannot reach the core.
A CFC-free polyurethane foam core bonds the two skins together and insulates many times better than a solid wood door.
A full-length reinforced lock block gives the lock and handleset a solid hold.
Insulated Low-E glass with argon gas as standard, with triple glazing available.
Composite door frames that will not rot, crack or bow through freeze and thaw.

Fiberglass will not dent or rust, takes a real wood-grain stain, and holds up better on a door that gets direct sun or rain. Steel costs a little less and is very strong. Both are insulated. See our full comparison of fiberglass and steel front doors.
Yes. Wood-grain doors can be stained or painted, and smooth doors are made to paint any colour. The black brushed doors come finished from the factory, so they need no painting at all.
Many of the styles on this page come in standard and 8 ft heights, and several widths up to about 3 ft 6 in, with matching sidelites.
Well. The skins do not crack or warp with freeze and thaw, the edges are sealed composite so water cannot reach the core, and the foam core and Low-E glass keep the cold out.
