A useful commercial inquiry does not need every document finalized. It does need enough context for the next conversation to be focused. Start with the information that defines the project, the scope, and the decision required.

Send these essentials

  • Project name or building type, city, and main contact.
  • Project stage: concept, pricing, active construction, replacement, or closeout.
  • Products or scope under consideration: windows, entry systems, aluminum doors, window wall, curtain wall, or large openings.
  • Available drawings, elevations, schedules, photos, or rough dimensions.
  • Expected timing and the next decision needed from the project team.

Explain the scope, not only the product name

If the project involves a facade or large opening, identify the visual intent, operating needs, access conditions, and any coordination questions that are already known. If the scope is not yet fixed, say so. It is more useful to state what is undecided than to force a generic quote request.

Keep project facts separate from assumptions

Product performance, engineering, code, permits, safety requirements, warranties, and installation scope must be confirmed for the specific project. Do not assume a precedent photo or broad product category proves suitability for a different building.

Use the commercial project inquiry page to send the available details. For facade-focused work, use the curtain wall or window wall service page.
